Why Donate to BDN?
As a not-for-profit organization, Brockton Day Nursery uses all revenue to support and enhance the level and quality of services it provides to children and families of the Greater Brockton Community. Donations allow us to provide ongoing quality care to children, provide programs to enrich child-parent relationships, and enhance teaching skills among early childhood educators.
By donating to BDN, you are ensuring that present and future children in our programs continue to get the highest quality early education, enrichment and care. Brockton Day Nursery is a designated a 501(c) 3 charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service and registered with and licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Your tax-deductible gift to BDN will continue our mission of providing our community’s children with fantastic early learning opportunities.

We realize that as contributors, you want your money to go directly to the children in the most substantive way possible. We understand and agree completely! To ensure that your money is not held up in non-direct services, we've set up the following accounts so that YOU can decide where your money goes. Simply select one of the following donation options and your donation will go directly to that specific area, or choose other and we will direct your donation to where it is needed most. Click to make a donation for arts and craft supplies. Through your donation, the program will purchase a variety of art supplies that are needed by classrooms. Supplies may include markers, crayons, pencils, stencils, paper, glue, clay, and scissors.
Click to make a donation for literacy and books.Your donation on this page will allow the program staff, to buy books and literacy materials that nurture early literacy. Books represent a wide range of situations, abilities, families, cultures, ideas, and languages, which can enlighten the children we serve and foster a lasting appreciation for books, as well as the stories they convey.
Click to make a donation for classroom furniture. Through your contribution here, the program will purchase needed furnishing items, including chairs, tables, age-appropriate shelving units, carpets, etc.
Click to make a donation for Outdoor play. Outdoor play is critical to healthy growth and the development of large motor muscles. Through your donation, we will be able to make purchases for materials and equipment that will stimulate this critical growth. Purchased items may include bikes, trikes, slides, balls, climber equipment, helmets, wagons, etc.
Refund Policy

Donation Refund Policy
If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to Brockton Day Nursery, we will honor your request for a refund made within three (3) days of your donation.
To request a refund, call (508) 588-2700. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. Therefore, if you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
Gift Policy Standards
BDN manages a number of fundraising initiatives with local programs to make every donated dollar go further for children and families in need. We will carefully consider the needs of the organization and will use your gift where we determine it is most needed, so that all donations may directly and indirectly support Brockton Day Nursery and the Greater Brockton community. When processing each gift, we will follow documented Brockton Day Nursery business rules and agreements, the Donor’s Bill of Rights, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles standards.
BDN will not accept any restrictions on use of donations less than $10,000; however, if you specifically request at the time of donation that funds be distributed to an accredited Program we will honor such request so long as distribution does not conflict with other Brockton Day Nursery policies. If BDN cannot honor a donor’s designation request for a gift of $10,000 or more, the gift will be forwarded to the appropriate local Program or returned to the donor. Third parties to a donation may not change the original designation of a gift. BDN may refuse any gift that does not sufficiently benefit the organization, is in conflict with the Brockton Day Nursery mission, puts the reputation of Brockton Day Nursery at risk or is prohibited by law.
Privacy Policy
Personal Identifiable Information
Visitors are not asked to provide any personal identifiable information to access the Website. Users may be asked to share their e-mail address to subscribe to e-mail alerts or newsletters. In this event, Brockton Day Nursery
will store this information securely and will not share, rent or sell it to anyone other than Brockton Day Nursery partner organizations. We reserve the right to share names, addresses, and account history with our affiliated local
partners such as The United Way of Greater Plymouth County and other funders for purposes that include provision to you of information on fundraising activities and appeals for donations. Donations to Brockton Day Nursery
Brockton Day Nursery requests information from the User on its donation form. Here the User must provide contact information (like name and address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used to conduct the transaction and help us better manage donors. If we have trouble processing a donation, this information is also used to contact the User. Brockton Day Nursery will store this information securely and will not share it, rent or sell it to anyone other than BDN partner organizations. We reserve the right to share names, addresses, and account history with our affiliated local partners such as The United Way of Greater Plymouth County and other funders for purposes that include provision to you of information on fundraising activities and appeals for donations. In no case will any sensitive financial information be shared.
Notification of Changes
If Brockton Day Nursery decides to change its privacy policy, BDN will post those changes to this page so Users are always aware of what information we collect and how we use it.
